Who we are

Nordica Cart Drawer is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). Questions about this policy or your data: mallory.berthome@gmail.com.

What the app stores

• Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
• Your drawer settings: colours, words, the free-shipping amount, the add-on products and the free gift (ids, titles and handles).
• Your plan (Free or Pro), and how many orders used the free gift, as Shopify counts it.
• Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
• Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.

What the app changes in your store

It saves the drawer’s settings in a setting of the app that your theme reads. With the free gift on, it creates one automatic discount, run by the app’s Shopify Function. It never changes products, prices, orders or theme files.

Your customers

The app doesn’t read orders or any information about your customers. The drawer works with the shopper’s own Shopify cart; nothing is sent to us.

Who processes the data

Cloudflare hosts the app and its database. Shopify provides the store data, runs the discounts and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

How long it is kept

When you uninstall the app, your sign-in data is deleted at once and Shopify removes the app’s discounts. Your settings are kept until Shopify asks for them to be erased, 48 hours after uninstalling, so a quick reinstall gets them back. You can ask for your support messages to be deleted at any time.
